Loxicom Oral Suspension is for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in cats and dogs. Loxicom contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for use to alleviate pain and inflammation in cats and dogs. It is used for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as disco-spondylosis, arthropathy and soft tissue injuries.

Doseage: Particular care should be given with regard to the accuracy of dosing. To prevent accidental overdosing use the dosing syringe. CATS On the first day dosing should be a single dose of 0.1mg/kg body weight (0.2ml/kg) Treatment is then continued once daily orally at a maintenance dose of 0.05mg/kg body weight (0.1ml/kg) DOGS On the first day dosing should be a single dose of 0.2mg/kg body weight (0.4ml/kg) Treatment is then continued once daily orally at a maintenance dose of 0.1mg/kg body weight (0.2ml/kg)

Application: Shake well before use, then remove cap. Loxicom Oral Suspension can be given either mixed with food or placed directly into the mouth.

Active Constituents: Each ml contains 0.5mg meloxicam.

Safety: Do not use in cats or dogs younger than 6 months of age or cats and dogs used for breeding, or pregnant or lactating. Meloxicam is not recommended for use in cats and dogs with bleeding disorders.
