Loxicom Oral Suspension is for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs. Loxicom contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for use to alleviate pain and inflammation in dogs. It is used for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as disco-spondylosis, arthropathy and soft tissue injuries.

Benefits It is packaged with 2 sizes of dosing syringes for accurate dosing in large and small dogs. It is a very effective anti-inflammatory. Easy once daily dosing. It is suitable for long term use

Doseage: Particular care should be given with regard to the accuracy of dosing. To prevent accidental overdosing of small dogs (less than 13.6kg), only use the small dosing syringe. The first day of treatment should be a single dose of 0.2mg/kg body weight. Treatment is to be continued once daily by oral administration (at 24 hour intervals) at maintenance dose of 0.1mg/kg body weight.

Application: Shake well before use, then remove cap. Loxicom Oral Suspension can be given either mixed with food or placed directly into the mouth.

Active Constituents: Each ml contains 1.5mg meloxicam.

Safety: Do not use in dogs younger than 6 months of age or dogs used for breeding, or in pregnant or lactating dogs. Meloxicam is not recommended for use in dogs with bleeding disorders.
