Meloxicam llium Pain Relief for Dogs

Anti-inflammatory Oral Suspension for Dogs.

For the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as discospondylosis, arthropathy and soft tissue injuries. Meloxicam is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) compound of the oxicam group which acts by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Meloxicam exerts anit-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It inhibits leukocyte infiltration into the imflamed tissue and prevents bone and cartilage destruction. To a minor extent it also inhibits collagen-induced thrombocyte aggregation.

Doseage and Administration:

It should be administered orally either mixed with food or directly into the mouth around meal times according to your veterinarian's instructions.

Shake well before use Discard 3 months after initial use. Particular care should be given to dosing so a 1ml syringe is included.

Active Constituents: Eack ml contains 1.5mg Meloxicam.

Safety: Do not use in pregnant or lactating dogs. As for all NSAIDs use in any animal less than 6 weeks of age or in debilitated aged animals may involve additional risk and clinincal management may be required. Response to long term therapy should be monitored by a veterinarian at three monthly intervals.
